Val Vasquez Bio:
Valentin Vasquez joined Binary Tree to lead the company’s efforts into the Exchange Migration market. Val is responsible for the vision, development and delivery of Binary Tree’s software for upgrading and migrating Microsoft Exchange Server environments. Before joining Binary Tree, Val worked at Quest Software for 8 years in a variety of customer facing roles including extensive experience in platform migration initiatives. Earlier in his career, Val was at Arthur Andersen for 4 years in their Global Infrastructure division, designing and deploying Systems Management solutions to over 2,200 Windows servers across the world. Val has expert knowledge of the Microsoft platform along with considerable experience in developing technology process solutions and in delivering training to world-wide audiences.

Carl Baumann Bio:
Carl Baumann, Director of Sales, joined Binary Tree in 1998. Across the course of his tenure with Binary Tree, Carl has spearheaded the development of the Binary Tree partner channel, as well as the creation and execution of the Binary Tree client engagement process, resulting in continuous year-over-year growth in sales of Binary Tree offerings for messaging migration software, coexistence solutions and services to/from IBM Lotus, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise. Carl was also very influential in Binary Tree’s three Lotus Industry Awards for Best Messaging Solution, which were awarded in 2001 and 2004, and the much-heralded Lotus CTO Award in 2003. Binary Tree’s partner channel expanded internationally under Carl’s management, providing an effective and efficient global footprint to the Binary Tree sales and delivery engagement model. Carl was also instrumental in the creation of both IBM Redbooks covering the topic of Migrating from Microsoft Exchange, as well as Tim Speeds’ publication, “Internet Security: A Jumpstart for Systems Administrators and IT Managers”. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science from La Salle University in Philadelphia majoring in Marketing and minoring in both International Business and Spanish. In addition, Carl holds a Masters degree in E-Commerce and Technology Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
